Mommar here.
Less than 24 hours before the 5.04 patch changes come into effect. Nothing to really worry about other than having to reset all your bars, relearn new abilities. New Talent Trees, go ooo and ahh a lot about all the new animation. And grouse for the next 28+ days about why you can't roll a Panda just yet.
But there is something you should definitely pay attention too. That's the conversion of Conquest points to honor. Originally it was announced that there would be no cap on the Honor Points due to the conversion. Woohoo, saints be praised. But unfortunately the powers that be at Blizzard changed their mind. There will be a hard cap of 4000 on both Honor and Conquest points.
If the conversion from Conquest (and from Valor) points don't put you over the 4000 cap line. Well read another one of my articles from the previous section below. But if you are going over the 4000
cap, then you need to make some quick adjustments.
For every point over the 4000 cap you get gold. 35s for each honor point and 47s for each Justice Point. But we are gold goblins, we can do better than this.
If you want to continue to PVP during the next 40 days or so, then gear your toon to it's best ability with your conquest points. All of the PVP armor will be available after 5.04 to buy with Honor points. Now if you have all the equipment available, figure out how many honor points you will end up being over after the conversion, and convert those honor points into Justice points. Even just the purchase and sale of one of the BOE boots or BOE bracers will net you more gold than the conversion of conquest points.
Enchanters have an extra bonus for their extra points. Large Brilliant Shards are going to be a hot commodity in the next few weeks. They are used for excellent leveling weapon enchants such as Enchant Weapon - Agility and Enchant Weapon - Crusader. For 35g on many servers, and expected to go higher, this can be a nice money making source.
Do you remember a little battleground called Alterac Valley? Most players only remember that they can port in for anywhere. But there is an actual entrance in the Alterac Valley for players.

Alliance Entrance
Valor Points for our personal gold goblin conversion will be similar. We're going to calculate how much it will put us over the limit after the conversion of Valor to Justice points. Then purchase what
we can from Justice Points (please stay away from the raw materials purchase) and then sell on the open market. With 30 days there will be time to make those sales and earn extra gold.
Automatic gold is nice, but with a little travel and extra work we can go from easy gold to much more profitable gold.
