I wonder if I couldn't get away with starting to refer to myself in third person.   Probably not,  the Mommar just doesn't have the same ring to it as 'The Situation',  and I don't like spray tans.

As we're all waiting patiently for the servers to be up and running,  there has been a lot of activity on
the blogosphere (c'mon dictionaries,  you gave F-bomb a definition?).   Many updates about play styles
and guides on quick setups.

A couple of them are not as well known.  But they have done a really good job of getting the basics out there without a lot of clutter.

http://www.mmomeltingpot.com/ has an awesome write up on quick starting your characters for glyphs and spell rotations.   Give them some link love as you're waiting for the magic time frame.

The consortium websites are furiously busy with updates on information and bugs found here.

There were a couple of last minute additions to the patches that were very interesting.  If you like to
be on the cutting edge of a storyline.  The battle for Theramore will open up for level 85 characters
for exactly 1 week starting September 18th.   No real information on any special achievements or bonus
items if you participate.   But why not give it a try. 

Inscriptionist should keep an eye on their Minor research and Northrend research timers.   There is a lot
of questions on what will be available when the patch goes live.    Glyphs might easily be available for 
training.  If they are,  grab them quickly in case you get players stacking up for their special panda 
monks.

Also with the achievements,  mounts and pets combining be prepared for a lot of wonkiness if you're 
using a custom user interface.  Now is a great time to look to start with a clean interface 
(curse.com have some excellent ones).   Starting from scratch might be the key to keeping 
things up to date.
