The introduction of Mists of Pandaria brings us Panda toons and class combinations to play with. As with any expansion, this also include in the shiny new package are new mounts, new clothes, new hairdos and all sorts of added items for our gold gluttony. With gold goblin senses on high, new opportunities will appear right in front of us.
But also new traps arrive in the package. The Pandarian race will be isolated from the rest of the Horde and Alliance til they make their choice on which side of the upcoming war to choose. This becomes very important because it will also isolate them from areas that gold goblins will take for granted. A strong viable sales area are the weapons from 10-20. These have long been a staple for players wanting to get their new shiny toons leveled faster through the opening zones.
But with the limitation of access to this area comes the pitfall of investing now in weapons and armor specifically directed towards these toons. Many players while leveling their Pandas will have to be satisified with what they gain through random drops and quest rewards. This stifles the access to sell to these new players for profit.
Now this doesn't eliinate the access to other players races, All of them have quick access to AH and mailboxes to procure items. Plus the possibility of access to Pandarian plunder will still be viable. But as with any new race, the stats will be more than comparable with items from the Auction House. So their purchasing may become limited except for the occasional vanity item or ultimate power leveler.
So keep this in mind as you start to invest in mid 10-20 armor and weapons, your sales will end up being more directed to players from other races, and pandarians might end up being the cheapskates of Axeroth and beyond.
