I said 11th Slot... not that other word

Mommar checking in.

So I did some late night purchases.  Picked up some Netherweave,  Embersilk and Frostweave cloth

from last minute sellers.   A lot of things are going to depend on tomorrow and whether they roll

out a 11th character slot.

You would think that a 11th slot wouldn't be that important.  But many players grow attached to their creations,  and have a difficult time of deleting toons.  So 10 toons slots on a server gets filled pretty quickly.   By allowing players to roll an race (panda lovers have to wait til the gates of Pandaria open)

there will many new classes and races explored in the next 30 days.   That 11th slot will be filled 

quickly by players wanting to try something new.  Goblins,  Worgen,  new races and new classes.

So just that fact should get your gold goblin radar going off.   More players and classes mean more 

opportunities to sell bags,  and potions and enchants.   Jewelcrafting,  which had took a major hit as 

of late production of profit will get a boost to recover.  And Inscription will get it's Glyphmas part 2 

early.

So between when the servers go down for maintenance and the opening of 5.04 there are still chores to

finish.

1.  Update those add-ons.   Personally I use Curse.com for most of my updates but a few have to be

     manually updated.   Having the most up to date add-ons will help with any bugs (don't forget to 

     check  the box that says "load out of date add-ons" when you first get started tomorrow afternoon).

2.  Do some research on your best spec.   Everything changes with the talent trees and abilities.  So be 

     prepared to have to learn some new rotations.  And enjoy getting to play with some new toys. 

     Wowinsider.com will have a good listing on the different changes in classes.  So spend a little time

     to see what playstyle and talent tree works best for you.

3.  Be ready for delays.   This is one of those major patches that is pretty well guaranteed to have delays.

     So logging in at 3 ET exactly to try to log on will only bring you frustration.   There is a small chance

     it will go off without a hitch.  If it does then it will be a first.  Being patient will get you past the 

     process with less gray hair. 

4.  Don't forget it's a game.  Unless you're getting paid to play,  then get some air,  go and take a walk

     beacause in the next week there will be lots to digest.   Losing your cool and ranting in trade chat

     only makes kittens cry,  and some players laugh.   

I'm looking forward to 5.04.   More money, more fun and ooo,  shiny charges with my Warrior.
