It's almost Winter Time on the calender. The last of the candy canes and wreaths with Gnome heads are being hung in Orgrimmar. Trees are being put up and Scrooge McHellscream is getting grumpy again.
Today and tomorrow are a good chance to get a head start on some farming. Hopefully you had already done a little bit of farming to pick up Small Eggs as you have been continuing your adventures in Azeroth and beyond.
Every Winter Veil the hawks around Silvermoon cringe by how many farmers blitz them for their precious eggs for sale. Many players have already completed their The Winter Veil Gourmet achievement already. But with the new expansion there is a fresh new grouping of players that have yet to finish up this achievement towards their point total. Fresh new buyers always make a Gold Goblin smile.
One of my favorite spots to farm egg is back in the Burning Crusade lands for Horde is around Silvermoon city. As long as it is not full of others fighting over tagging mobs. A good AOE farmer can empty the area quickly.
For Alliance go to Darkshore and get some eggs from the dead mobs there. Farming now ahead of the rush of players in the next few days should set you for sales all along Winter Veil.
For those that enjoy taking money from lazy players, add some Ice Cold Milk to your Auction House Rotation for some added gold.
Just be careful and not take too much of your playing time to farm. The farther we get into expansions the less amount of sales that will be available. The first rush of buying of eggs from the Auction house will taper down as the event continues. Look for your tipping point where the time you put up new auctions can be better used for questing or dailies.
