Mining Map of 1k Needles
Thousand Needles is my second favorite mining spots in the game and I never really had a decent map for it. Thanks to Nikitanl for providing this awesome mining route of 1k needles.
Nikitanl said... here is a route for 1k needles. created with gathermate data, and routes (addon). i havent checked the "ooze covered" mining nodes, so there will probably be more in the caves. it seems like a huge circle following the outlines of the map :) personally i would skip the shimmering flats. it seems too much travelling for too few mining nodes.

I do try to mix it up every now and then. I'll usually sell 1k stacks, but some people will try to undercut you by selling stacks of 200 a few gold higher than the equivalent 1k. At that point I'll just pop on 10 stacks of 200, with the price matching my 1k. That usually discourages it.
Regarding Darkmoon Arctic Furs

Been telling people about this on my blog for ages.I actually created a Darkmoon Faire alt for this purpose, a character which stands there every day for 7 days and which I log into for 30 in the morning and 30min+ in the evening to buy respawning mats from Llhara. With approx 200G you can easily make 500+G.Arctic fur is a rare buy from Llhara. Her best items are the mid/high range leathers as they spawn a lot.Purple and Frost LotusTalandra's roseMote of Water/Earth/fire etc.The professor standing next to her is also a great source of income and cheap prices as his lvl 70 scrolls normally sell for double on AH (specially Intelligence Scrolls) and the mana and health potions are cheap, thus I normally buy quite a few for myself and my lower level guild members guild. This is in my personal opinion the most underrated money making event in the game, as after a week of constant buying from Llhara, I have a constant highish income from the mats bought.

Discussion
I've been racking my brain trying to figure out what kind of impact the multitudes of gradeschool to highschool players will have on the economy of this game once they finish school for the summer. Before I write my post, what are your thoughts?
Are you still having trouble making gold in world of warcraft, even with the help of this blog? Perhaps you should try posting and asking for help on the Just My Two Copper forums! The thread "OMG I can't make gold" was made for people to tell their situation and ask for advice from the 360+ auctioneers currently active on the JMTC economic forums.

Suggestion box Friday sounds a bit like open line friday. The golden throne is akin to the golden microphone and that makes the introduction to this post seem similar to a conservative radio talk show host's intros on fridays. As a gold maker and entrepreneur, you would have to be a conservative who belives in and values capitalism. OH...its almost lunch time when I can listen to the show for an hour.
As for mining, I like using the routes addon, it helps but for the most part, in most zones, you just skim the edge of the map anyway.

I'm not sure the kids being out of school will have that much impact, in the long run.
I expect prices of many raw trade goods will drop pretty sharply, at first, thanks to the expectation of increased supply.
However, there will also be increased demand, because not all of them are going to have two gathering professions. Some will likely be changing their professions in pursuit of the current best bonuses, a few might just because they're bored.
I think after that first panic drop, prices will slowly rise again, and stabilize at a point close to where they are now. Likely a bit lower for most raw trade goods, but possibly even higher for some (I'm thinking gems in particular, and perhaps high-level herbs if more free time equates to more raid pushing).
Borean leather and nether/frostweave cloth will probably be exceptions, as you can effectively "farm" those in the course of playing the game. I think those will stay low all summer.
