The odds of winning the lottery is approximately the same as getting mauled by a brown bear and a polar bear in the middle of Iowa. It's possible if the right circumstances come together, but don't bet the farm on it idea.
I feel the same way about gaining that million gold item in Warcraft. Or even that 100,000 gold item. They are out there, but extremely rare being on the name tag should give you a good idea on how quickly it will be added to your inventory.
Gold goblins quickly learn one very important thing. You build your gold fortune in leaps, bounds, steps and even stumbles. It won't appear overnight, but it will happen if you work through your lessons that you learn here, and even on other journals. One person cannot cover everything (though I do give it a good try).
Making gold in Warcraft is truly not rocket science. You buy items, you sell items. The more advanced will craft items that players want in their collection. The even more advanced players will use other players gold and materials to craft items. These are simple lessons, but they are also the most important lessons you will learn.
So whether you want to be a snail, or a cheetah when it comes to making gold. You have to put your foot into the game to win. And you have to keep going with what you have learned, even if it isn't time to cash that lottery check just yet.
Good Luck and Good Hunting.
