The Tripping of Theramore

The pre Mists of Pandaria event called 'Theramores Fall' became available to players on US servers on Monday.   It was an interesting preview to the new scenario mechanics that Blizzard is introducing 
with MOP.

Both versions offer interesting perspectives of the event.   Most of the runs I did on my characters
worked better if we stayed together as a team instead of trying to go separately.    The Mobs are geared with many elites running around that can splat a player alone very quickly.

The items dropped from the Spoils of Theramore (it arrives in your bag at the completion) range from 354 Epic items to Fireworks.   Unfortunately in a week the fireworks will end up having more value than the weapons and gear itself.  Still the gear does have some old school looks which might go well with transmog gear.

You can run the scenario multiple times and receive a new Spoils of Theramore.   Horde players get a Mini Mana Bomb in their mail while alliance players get an interesting new banner to plant.

All of the items including the spoils themselves are BOP (originally they were able to be traded but only contained fireworks after trading).   The scenario itself will give players a taste of what is to come later in MOP when full gearing scenarios open up.

After this week this entire 3 person test will only be available to level 90 players.   It's not sure whether
the gear will be updated to level 90 gear or remain at level 85 as it is now.   If the gear upgrades it will 
be another way for players to gear up their toons for Heroics.

My personal feelings were that the scenario itself was a little lackluster.  I expected something epic 
with the introduction of Mists of Pandaria.  Those that were around with the opening of the gates of 
AQ or the opening Lich invasion before the beginning of the Wrath King saw an epic quality event.  This
left a lot to be desired and will end up have the feeling of just another loot run.

Still I suggest players give it a try,  before you read the spoilers to get a taste of the storytelling that will
occur during Mists of Pandaria.
